Fall is our favorite time of the year! We love the cool temperatures, the colors, the pumpkin and cinnamon smell, the activities and so much more. You know that this is a great time to make memories with your kids, but aren’t sure exactly what to do. Ask your kids if they have anything specific that they want to do this fall, work around things they might want to do.

We have put together some great ideas for you to do with your babies. Make sure to have a camera, or cell phone camera, handy because you're going to want to document these memories.

Visit a farm

Often times when you visit a farm you can even apple pick or pumpkin pick. Allow them to personally pick and explore the options. Don't forget to check out the animals at the farm, and feed them too! Do some research on the areas around you and see when is the best time to go.

Bonfire & S'mores

This is one of the greatest memories children have. What is better than a little fire with a sweet treat? Nothing! Allow the kids to create their own s'more and pick out their own stick to put the marshmallow on.

Carve Pumpkins

Carve and create pumpkins that fit your kids personality. Local places such as a local church, park and recreation, YMCA, country club, or extended child care program, will have classes for your child to attend and create different crafts each week. This will allow you to have some personal time away, while they are having fun!

Collect Leaves

Let's face it we get leaves at this time of year and they are hard to keep up with. Have the kids go out and rack them with you and see who can create the largest pile of leaves. Have a little fun with this.

Decorate Leaves

This is way too cool and fun to do; have the kids pick out leaves that they like and want to decorate. Bring it inside and either paint on the leaves or use a sharpie marker to create something wonderful and memorable.

Take a hayride and run through a maze

Find local attractions near by that are having hayrides or maze runs; you will need to pay a small fee to enter. Offer the kids apple cider, hot chocolate or pumpkin drinks so they can feel like an 'adult' with a different kind of beverage.

Traditional Fun

Things such as going to the park, or even for a walk, are still perfect at any age. You will get to enjoy some beautiful scenery and some quiet time with the kids.

There are so many things to do around this time of year, with more to come in the following months. We know that sometimes life gets the best of us and we are busy or don’t have time for these activities; time goes by too quick so take sometime for your kids to enjoy these moments. What is your favorite activity to do with your child during fall?
